The CIA has received secret presidential approval to mount a covert "black" operation to destabilize the Iranian government, current and former officials in the intelligence community tell the Blotter on ABCNews.com.

Um.... I really don't know what to say about this.

Not only is it not that "black" (how on earth would we possibly hear about it if it was supposed to be such a "secret"?), but doesn't this strike you as one of the dumbest ideas ever? WWIII anyone?

He's Hungry!

Congratulations! You May Already Be A Terrorist!

Do you believe that government policies are immoral and infringe on individual liberty? That gun control violates your rights? That the government is violating the principles of the Constitution? That the government violates the principles of your religion? If so, the government already considers you a terrorist and wants you under surveillance.

Homeland Security Office Existed Prior To 9/11

This video is taken from a report on Fox News that was made within hours of the 9/11 attacks. The person reporting is current White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, who was Fox news personality on 9/11/01. The report states, ironically enough, that two offices that were in the Pentagon section that was hit were related to terrorism.

Horrible heat. Yahoo News! has said, "Several daily heat records were broken Monday. Among them, Los Angeles International Airport recorded a high of 88, beating the 80-degree record set in 1984."

Griffith Park is on fire. I was outside shooting some video of flames licking at the heels of the Griffith Park Observatory. Very cool looking, although horrible to witness. It looked all orange and angry.

It is still hot as a Dickens. This Summer is going to be hell.
In the military, when you fly the American Flag upside down, or when you fly another flag above the American Flag, this is a signal that the area is compromised, in trouble, or has fallen to the "enemy". If these students do not show respect for our Flag and our customs and laws, then why should we bend over backwards to continue to provide amnesty, support, education and health coverage for anyone who does not support our country or way of life? Saint Patrick's Day is proof that just because I'm Irish, this country doesn't want to strip me of my National Identity. However, I believe Saint Patrick's Day was set down as a holiday only after the Irish were accepted into American Society. We already celebrate Cinco De Mayo, now, can we have some quid pro quo?

Quoted from article:

"I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington. The image of the American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on American soil is already spreading on Internet forums and via e-mail. Pass this along to every American citizen in your address books and to every representative in the state and federal government. If you choose to remain uninvolved do not be amazed when you no longer have a nation to call your own nor anything you have worked for left since it will be "redistributed" to the activists while you are so peacefully staying out of the "fray". Check history, it is full of nations/empires that disappeared when its citizens no longer held their core beliefs and values. One person CAN make a difference. One plus one plus one plus one plus one plus one........."

Why is Cheney impeachment not in the news?!

OpEd piece asking a very good question. Even for those that don't think impeachment is appropriate, isn't it still news when entire Cities and States start drafting legislation towards and very close votes actually support such a path? Now, I'm not saying that our "intelligence mistake" sure looks a whole heck of a lot like an occupation with an intent to create permanent bases in Iraq to protect the Oil that is being pumped out of the ground, but some could see it that way. So why the press blackout? Is the administration afraid of what would happen? Do they have any control over the press? And if so, are they using their influence?

LOST prepares for season finale with an amazing episode tonight (3x19)

The search for redemption follows many paths. For the lost souls on Lost, efforts at salvation vary from small acts of kindness that promote forgiveness to sudden acts of violence that promise freedom. For the show itself, redemption consists of a string of solid, and sometimes superb, episodes that has firmly re-established Lost in TV's top ranks,

04 09 F9 11 02 9D seven four E3 5B D8 41 five six C5 63 five six crazy __'s C0 LO RA DO

Gee, I guess if you removed the 04 at the beginning, and then got rid of the part of Colorado that is not part of the official postal abbreviation for the state, replaced the written out words with numbers, and you get the reference to Kill Bill, then you would have a number in hexadecimal format that some people don't want you to read, know about or use. I certainly do not condone or support the use of such a number.

I'm not sure what the number is... or how to use it...

But it seems to be pissing off a lot of people.

Now, where else on the net would I find such a number?
