Our fireplace, as seen through the screen. As the first real rainstorm is upon us, we lit our first fire.

It was kind of hard to get started, even with dry wood. Makes you think that all of those brush fires that happen had to have been set on purpose. It seemed so hard to get going that I thought every fire just HAD to be set on pupose. Way too hard to light one on "accident".

Actor and Internet personality, Wil Wheaton, has been indicted by federal prosecutors on charges of promoting and hosting a robot fighting ring. These ground squirrels (hamsters) are super cute. I like how they work together. A good example for young professionals everywhere.

Kerry noted that they look like hamsters. I did have a hamster once, he died while trying to escape.
