Visit with Sput... Documentary Directed by Keith Coogan
Visit with Sput, a friend of mine who has Arthrogryposis, also known as arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC), it is a rare congenital disorder that is characterized by multiple joint contractures and can include muscle weakness and fibrosis. It is a non-progressive disease. The disease derives its name from Greek, literally meaning 'curved or hooked joints.
Watch as Sput travels to his friend's class to speak and demonstrate to future teachers that students with physical disabilities are absolutely no different than anyone else, and require very minimal special needs in a classroom.
Sput's extended family, including his caregiver, friends, family and neighbors all chip in and do their part to take care of this great man.
